What is "Sustainably Raised"?

We raise our animals in a manner that promotes their well-being and improves the land they’re being raised on. Rather than depleting the soil, our rotational grazing actually increases the soil health and leads to greater productivity over time.  

Here are a few key principles of our Sustainably Raised practices:

Animal Welfare: The well-being of our animals is a top priority. Our animals are provided adequate space, and access to clean water and nutritious feed. We avoid overcrowding, confinement, and the use of hormones or antibiotics for non-therapeutic purposes.

Environmental Stewardship: We aim to conserve natural resources, such as water, land, and energy. The goal is to minimize pollution and soil erosion while encouraging biodiversity.

Regenerative Agriculture: Our focus is on rebuilding and improving the soil and enhancing its fertility. We use rotational grazing to promote soil health and biodiversity.

Reduced Chemical Inputs: We avoid the use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides. We use natural pest control methods and rely on organic and sustainable agricultural practices to reduce chemical inputs and their potential negative impacts on the environment and human health.
